Half a Bouquet from the Girona Flower Festival

A bright sunny day provided the perfect backdrop for our all-day visit to Girona and its annual flower festival during which much of the Old Town is festooned with floral displays.  The props incorporated range from plastic water cups to old shoes to wooden coat hangers.  Many shops along the main street placed white painted wooden chairs near the entrance, the seat filled with colorful blooms.

Lee (of course) gave his camera a real workout and ended up with a hundred digital images to add to his seemingly inexaustable inventory of flower pictures.  The only problem is that the supply outnumbered his ability to process them all as quickly as he would like.  So tonight's installment brings to the blog only the highlights from among the first fifty editted images.  Others from the second fifty will (hopefully) appear here tomorrow.   And rather than have them appear as a slide show, he has uploaded each image individually.

Enjoy!
