Following our four nights in Champaign, we headed up to Chicago to spend one night with the Lonergans in Oak Park. This seems to have become something of a regular pattern, stopping off to see family members before taking off on yet another travel adventure.As usual for a weekday visit, everyone was busy doing whatever "normally" keeps them busy. Alissa had lunch waiting for us under the backyard trellis. Colin and Olivia finished their school day and headed off to a "tech rehersal" for the Spotlight Youth Theater producction of ROBIN HOOD: THE MUSICAL scheduled to hit the boards this coming Thursday. Sean had track practice after his classes were over at the highschool. Ted got home from work in time to enjoy dinner with us at Sushi House before heading over to Weaton for his weekly pick-up game of basketball.
We still managed, in the midst of all this activity, to catch up on all the latest news and to have a chance to pet both Dexter and Devlan to our hearts content ...
